You must have held a Full Class 2 NZ Driver Licence for at least 6 months if you are under 25 or 3 months if you are over 25.

Prior to the course:

1. Go to your doctor and update your Driver's Licence Medical Certificate if it is more than 5 years old.

2. Go to an AA or VTNZ to purchase your Class 4 Learners Licence $27.10 (no theory test required).  Note: you will need to take your current NZ Driver's Licence and your Driver's Licence Medical Certificate and complete the DL1 Application Form.

3. Locate your Class 2 NZTA Certificate, you may need to obtain a copy from the course provider.

Class 4 Course: $1,395.00 incl.GST

Our Class 4 Course consists of both theory and practical components, which will when successfully completed, give you a course completion certificate.  Allow for half a day to complete the course if you do have your Class 2, completion certificate or a day and a half to complete the course if you do not have your Class 2 course completion certificate.

Present your NZTA Certificate at an AA or VTNZ to add to your Driver's Licence $39.80.
